AVJ16 is a cancer cell migration inhibitor that targets the insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA binding protein IGF2BP1 with a good affinity of Kd of 1.4μM. AVJ16 interferes with IGF2BP1 binding target mRNA to regulate gene expression and translation[1]. IC50 & Target:Insulin-like growth factor 2 mRNA binding protein (IGF2BP1)[1] In Vitro:AVJ16 (4 μM, 24 h-2 weeks) inhibits the proliferation, invasion and migration of IGF2BP1-expressing lung adenocarcinoma cells, suppresses the colony formation and the spheroid growth of cell H1299 and LKR-M-FI, and induces apoptosis in H1299 and LKR-M-FI[2]. In Vivo:AVJ16 (100 mg/kg, ip, every two days for 3 weeks) exhibits antitumor activity in LKR-M-FI xenograft mouse models[2].
