ALK2-IN-2 is an orally active and selective inhibitor of ALK2 (ACVR1), with an IC50 value of 9 nM, and over 700-fold selectivity against ALK3. ALK2-IN-2 can inhibit oxidative stress and protect endothelial cells[1][2].
In Vitro:ALK2-IN-2 (Compound 23) can inhibit BMP6-induced transcriptional activity in C2C12 cells, with an EC50 of 8 nM[1].
ALK2-IN-2 (3-100 nM; 6-24 h) has a protective effect on human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVECs) and can reduce the damage of oxidative stress to the migration and vascular formation functions of endothelial cells[2].
