Cloquintocet-mexyl is a herbicide safener. Cloquintocet-mexyl promotes the expression of genes related to chlorophyll synthesis (such as GTR and PPO) and chlorophyll-binding protein genes (CBP), increases the chlorophyll content, thereby promoting photosynthesis and reducing oxidative stress. Cloquintocet-mexyl improves wheat tolerance to Fomesafen (HY-B2010)[1][2].
In Vitro:Cloquintocet-mexyl (4-32 mg/L; 12 h) significantly increases the plant height and fresh weight of Bainong207 wheat seedlings under Fomesafen (HY-B2010) stress, alleviating Fomesafen injury[1].
Cloquintocet-mexyl (10 mg/L; 8 h) significantly enhances GST and GPOX activities in 7-day-old wheat seedlings within 8 h of treatment[2].
