A 1110U is a potent inhibitor of HSV and VZV ribonucleotide reductase. IC50 & Target: HSV, VZV, Ribonucleotide reductase[1] In Vitro: A 1110U is a potent inhibitor of HSV and VZV ribonucleotide reductase. A 1110U (1-2 μM) apparently inactivates the ribonucleotide reductase of HSV-1 ans HSV-2, and when the concentration gets 10-fold higher, A 1110U can reduces human ribonucleotide reductase activity. A111OU inhibits the replication of HSV-2 with an IC50 of 1.1 ± 0.067 μM, and significantly suppressses ACV with a lower IC50[1].
