BAL-30072, a siderophore sulfactam, is a monocyclic beta-lactam antibiotic, with activity against multiresistant gram-negative bacilli. BAL30072 shows MIC90 values of 4 μg/mL for MDR Acinetobacter spp. and 8 μg/mL for MDR P. aeruginosa, respectively[1][2]. IC50 & Target: MIC90: 4 μg/mL (MDR Acinetobacter spp.), 8 μg/mL (MDR P. aeruginosa)[1][2].
