Salicylaldoxime is an organic compound, that has been used as a reagent for the gravimetric determination and separation of Cooper, Nickel, Palladium, Lead, Bismuth and Zine. The copper complex of Salicylaldoxime has anticancer activity[1][2]. In Vitro:Salicylaldoxime (300 μM) completely inhibits the relaxation activity of topoisomerase II when it forms a complex with copper; also inhibits L1210 leukaemia cell proliferation[1].
