RDEA-427 is a pyrrolopyrimidine derivative and also a HIV-1 non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitor (NNRTI). RDEA-427 acts on wild-type and NNRTI-resistant mutant HIV-1. RDEA-427 can be used in research related to HIV infection[1].
In Vitro:RDEA-427 (for 5 days) potently inhibits the replication of wild-type HIV-1 in MT4 cells, with an EC50 of 0.9 nM and SI >50,000[1].
RDEA-427 (for 5 days) inhibits the replication of NNRTI-resistant HIV-1K103N-Y181C mutant strain in MT4 cells, and the EC50 value against this mutant was 11‑fold higher than that against the wild‑type strain[1].
