Coumarin is a potent and orally active anti-inflammatory agent. Coumarin shows an antinociceptive effect. Coumarin shows antibacterial, antifungal and anticancer activity[1][2]. In Vivo:Coumarin (1-10 mg/kg; p.o.) shows an antinociceptive effect in a dose-dependent manner in the acetic acid-induced writhing test[1].
