APD597 (JNJ-38431055) is an orally active agonist of GPR119. APD597 exhibits reduced CYP2C9 inhibition with an IC50 of 5.8 μM. APD597 can be studied in research for type 2 diabetes[1][2][3]. In Vitro:APD597 (10 μM) significantly increases CREB phosphorylation in NIT-1 cells[2]. In Vivo:APD597 (20 mg/kg, p.o., single dose) increases the glucose-induced total GLP-1 and GIP levels in ICR mice[2].
