Ganoderone A is a triterpene compound that can be isolated from the fruiting body of Ganoderma pfeifferi and Ganoderma calidophilum. Ganoderone A has antiviral activity against HSV with IC50 value of 0.3 µg/mL. Ganoderone A has potential applications in viral infections and tumors[1][2][3]. In Vitro:Ganoderone A exhibits cytotoxic activity on K562, BEL7402 and SGC790 cell lines with IC50 values of 7.62 µM, 6.28 µM and 3.55 µM, respectively[3].
