Introduction of 871015-11-1 :

4SC-207 is a potent, orally active microtubule inhibitor. 4SC-207 inhibits microtubule growth to inhibit tumor cell proliferation in vitro and in vivo, and promotes a mitotic delay/arrest, followed by apoptosis or aberrant divisions. 4SC-207 inhibits tumor growth in taxane resistant xenograft mouse models. 4SC-207 can be used for cancer research, such as colon adenocarcinoma and other malignancies[1]. In Vitro:4SC-207 (10 nM-100 μM, 24-72 h) reduces cell viability and induces a G2/M arrest only in proliferating RKO cells[1].
4SC-207 (10 nM-100 nM, 9 h) induces, in a dose dependent manner, aberrant divisions, following a prolonged mitosis, or mitotic arrest in HeLa wt cells, and affects all cells at 100 nM[1].
4SC-207 (0-2 μM, 0-20 min) inhibits tubulin polymerization in a dose-dependent manner in an in vitro assay using purified pig-brain tubulin[1].
4SC-207 (50-100 nM) reduces microtubule growth speeds in living HeLa cells[1].
4SC-207 (72 h) exhibits potent anti-proliferative agent active on a broad range of tumor cells with an average GI50 of 11nM, and is active in multi-drug resistant cell lines, such as HCT-15 and ACHN[1]. In Vivo:4SC-207 (60 and 120 mg/kg, i.g., 3 times weekly for 3 weeks) shows anti-proliferative activity also in the context of a tumor resistant to Taxol (HY-B0015) treatment in an HCT-15 xenograft mouse model[1].
