SCH 30497

SCH 30497 is a potent and orally active analgesic agent. SCH 30497 exhibits analgesic activity in the rat yeast-induced paw pain model, the mouse acetic acid-induced writhing test, and the squirrel monkey electric shock titration test. SCH 30497 can be used in pain research^[1]. In Vivo:SCH 30497 demonstrats dose-dependent analgesic effects in a rat model of yeast-induced paw pain; at peak efficacy, the ED₅₀ values ​​(in mg/kg) for oral, subcutaneous, intramuscular, and intravenous administration were 4.7, 5.7, 6.4, and 1.4, respectively^[1].
SCH 30497 also exhibits analgesic activity in the mouse acetic acid-induced writhing test (ED₅₀ = 1.9 mg/kg, oral administration) and the squirrel monkey shock titration test (ED₅₀ = 14.5 mg/kg, oral administration)^[1].
