Delapril (CV-3317) is an orally active angiotensin I converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor. Delapril has antihypertensive activity[1].
In Vivo: Delapril (5-20 mg/kg, fed in drinking water) slows the progression of atherosclerosis in cholesterol-fed rabbits[2].
Delapril (1-10 mg/kg, p.o., daily for 5 weeks) shows antihypertensive effect spontaneously in hypertensive rats[3].
