FCE-20696 (hydrochloride) is an orally active immunomodulator. FCE-20696 (hydrochloride) also shows anti-inflammation and anti-infection effects. FCE-20696 (hydrochloride) can be used for the researches of infection, inflammation and immunology, such as adjuvant arthritis[1][2].
In Vivo:FCE-20696 (hydrochloride) (1.1-2.5 mg/kg, p.o., 5 weeks) reduces the symptoms of the disease and prolongs survival in rats with adjuvant arthritis[1].
FCE-20696 (hydrochloride) (12.5 mg/kg, p.o., twice a week) shows anti-infection in mice infected with herpes simplex virus type 1[2].
