MALAT1-IN-1 (compounds 5) is a potent and specific Malat1 (Metastasis-associated lung adenocarcinoma transcript 1) inhibitor. MALAT1-IN-1 modulated Malat1 downstream genes in a dose-dependent manner without affecting expression of nuclear enriched abundant transcript 1 (Neat1) [1].

In Vitro:MALAT1-IN-1 (Compound 5) (1 μM, 7 days) reduces Malat1 levels and mammary tumor organoid branching in an organoid model of mammary cancer derived from MMTV-PyMT luminal B tumors in mice[1].
MALAT1-IN-1 (0.5 and 1 μM) inhibits downstream targets of Malat1 (krt16) and increases csn2 in MMTV-PyMT tumor organoids[1].
