Romurtide (Muroctasin), a synthetic muramyl dipeptide derivative, is a cytokines inducer. Romurtide can increase peripheral neutrophils and monocytes in vivo and enhance production of colony-stimulating factors (CSFs), IL-1 and IL-6 in vitro[1]. IC50 & Target:Cytokines[1] In Vitro: Romurtide significantly enhances production of colony-stimulating factors (CSFs), interleukin-1 (IL-1) and interleukin-6 (IL-6) by the cells of monkey peripheral monocytes[1]. In Vivo: Romurtide (1 mg/head; s.c.; single dosage) increases significantly the number of peripheral neutrophils and monocytes in healthy cynomolgus monkeys[1].
