Introduction of 7518-22-1 :

Araloside A (Chikusetsusaponin IV), triterpenoid saponins, is an orally active component of Aralia elata. Araloside A shows low-renin-inhibitory activity with an IC50 of 77.4 μM. Araloside A can inhibit cell proliferation and induce apoptosis. Araloside A suppresses inflammatory cytokines IL-1β and IL-6 production. Araloside A can be used for the researches of cancer, inflammation and cardiovascular disease, such as renal cell carcinoma and rheumatoid arthritis[1][2][3][4]. IC50 & Target:IC50: 77.4 μM (Renin)[1] In Vitro:Araloside A (1-100 μM, 24-72 h) reduces cellular viability and induces apoptosis in GRC-1 and 786-O cells[2].
Araloside A (1-32 μM, 24 h) inhibits proliferation in MH7A cells[3].
Araloside A (4-16 μM, 24 h) induces apoptosis in MH7A cells[3].
Araloside A (4-16 μM, 24 h) suppresses IL-1β, IL-6, NO and PGE2 levels and inhibits NF-κB pathway in MH7A cells[3].
In Vivo:Araloside A (10-40 mg/kg, i.g., daily for 7 days) shows protective effect in gastric ulcer mice models[1].
