CHF5022 is an inhibitor of Aβ42 secretion (IC50=92 μM). CHF5022 retains a modest activity on Aβ40 at non-cytotoxic concentrations (−22.2±4.8% at 100 μM)[1].
In Vitro:CHF5022 dose not inhibit COX-1 and COX-2 up to a concentration of 300 μM[1].
CHF5022 (100 μM) significantly downregulated two AICD (APP intracellular domain)-responsive genes, without any effect on the tested NICD (Notch intracellular domain) target genes[1].
In Vivo:After multiple oral administration, CHF5022 is absorbed dose-dependently, with a fair penetration of the brain (≈10%) of young Tg2575 mice[1].
