Indecainide (Ricainide) is an orally active antiarrhythmic agent. Indecainide can be used in the research of ventricular dysfunction. Indecainide has Na+-channel-blocking activity[1][2].
In Vivo: Indecainide (1-5 mg/kg, i.v.) shows antiarrhythmic effect in dogs[1].
Indecainide (4 mg/kg, p.o.) results in rapid absorption by 15 min[2].
