Introduction of 74434-59-6 :

Sauvagine is a corticotropin-releasing factor receptor (CRFR) agonist. Sauvagine activates HM-CRF receptors to stimulate intracellular cAMP accumulation, activates PC-CRF receptors to trigger associated signaling pathways, and stimulates the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis. Sauvagine can be used for research on central nervous system and blood diseases[1][2][3]. In Vitro:Sauvagine (0.001-1000 nM; 20 min) potently stimulates intracellular cAMP accumulation in HM-CRF receptor-transfected CV-1 and 293-EBNA cells with an EC50 of ~0.1 nM[1].
Sauvagine (0.001-100 nM; 20 min) stimulates intracellular cAMP accumulation in PC-CRF receptor-transfected CV-1 and 293-EBNA cells with an EC50 of ~0.3 nM[1]. In Vivo:Sauvagine (i.c.v or i.c. or i.v.; single dose) elevates plasma ACTH, catecholamine and glucose concentrations in rats[2].
Sauvagine (i.v.; single dose) increases superior mesenteric artery flow and plasma glucose, and decrease mean arterial pressure in conscious dogs[2].
