Quercetin 3-gentiobioside is a flavonoid found in Artemisia iwayomogi. Quercetin 3-gentiobioside inhibits aromatase with an Ki of 46.77 nM. Quercetin 3-gentiobioside inhibits aldose reductase (AR) and the formation of advanced glycation end products (AGEs), with IC50 values of 10.60 μM and 109.46 μM, respectively. Quercetin 3-gentiobioside inhibits proliferation of cancer cells and fibroblast-like synoviocytes. Quercetin 3-gentiobioside can be used for the research of cancer, such as lung carcinoma[1][2][3].
In Vitro:Quercetin 3-gentiobioside binds to human placental aromatase (PDB:3EQM) with a binding affinity of -10 kcal/mol and an estimated Ki of 46.77 nM, forming specific hydrogen and non-bonded interactions within the enzyme's binding pocket[1].
Quercetin 3-gentiobioside (25-100 μM; 48 h) significantly inhibits the proliferation of NCI-N87, A375, and A549 cells[2].
Quercetin 3-gentiobioside (50-300 μM; 48 h) significantly inhibits the proliferation of HFLS-RA cells, with a maximum inhibition rate of 42.99%[2].
