ISS610 is a selective Stat3 inhibitor with an IC50 of 42 μM. ISS610 induces Apoptosis. ISS610 can be used in research related to breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer[1][2].
In Vitro:ISS610 potently and selectively disrupts the binding of STAT3:STAT3 dimers to DNA in cell-free EMSA assays, with an IC50 of 42 μM, and exhibits low activity against STAT1:STAT1 and STAT5:STAT5 dimers[2].
ISS610 inhibits constitutive STAT3 activity and induces cell growth inhibition and apoptosis in Src-transformed mouse fibroblasts, breast cancer and non-small cell lung cancer cell lines with persistently activated STAT3, whereas its non-phosphorylated counterpart exerts no such effects[2].
