Cyheptamide can be used in studies related to convulsions and epilepsy[1][2]. In Vivo:Cyheptamide (25-630 mg/kg; i.p.; p.o.) exhibits potent anticonvulsant activity in mice, with intraperitoneal and oral MES ED50 values of 25 mg/kg and 33 mg/kg, respectively, and an oral ataxia ED50 of 400 mg/kg[1].
