ProINDY, a prodrug of INDY (HY-108476), is a DYRK1A and DYRK1B inhibitor. ProINDY effectively recovers Xenopus embryos from head malformation induced by Dyrk1A overexpression[1]. In Vitro:In the cultured cells overexpressing Dyrk1A or xDyrk1A, ProINDY inhibits the phosphorylation of Thr212 of the tau-protein. ProINDY also rescues the NFAT pathway in Dyrk1A-overexpressing cells, confirming the identical Dyrk1A-inhibitory effect[1].
