Safrolglycol is a phenylpropane compound that can be found in the wood of Cinnamomum parthenoxylon. Safrolglycol inhibits the proliferation of human leukemia cells and can be used in leukemia-related research[1]. In Vitro:Safrolglycol (Compound 4) inhibits the proliferation of human leukemia HL-60 cells with an IC50 of 60.0 μM, and suppresses the proliferation of human leukemia U937 cells with an IC50 of 50.8 μM following 48 h of treatment[1].
