Dihydrogalanthamine hydrobromide is the hydrobromide form of 1,2-dihydrogalanthamine, which exhibits acetylcholinesterase (acetylcholinesterase, AChE) inhibitory activity. Dihydrogalanthamine hydrobromide can be used in the research of nervous system-related diseases[1]. In Vitro:Hydrobromide of dihydrogalanthamine (2.2 pg; 10 min) exhibits inhibitory activity against acetylcholinesterase (AChE) derived from electric eel (Electrophorus electricus), with a minimum detectable inhibitory amount of 2.2 pg and an extrapolated IC50 of 0.19 μM[1].
