TAPSO is a commonly used biological buffer and pH-stabilizing reagent, with an effective pH range of 7-8 and a pKa range of 7.5-9. TAPSO contains a Tris group, exhibits considerable reactivity, and can interact with zwitterionic glycine peptides[1][2]. In Vitro:TAPSO can be used to prepare buffer solutions, and is suitable for preparing buffer solutions with a pH range of 7.0 to 8.2[1].
