Ophiopogonin D' is a steroidal saponin and a SIRT1 activator. Ophiopogonin D' can also regulate the activities of transporters OATP1B1 and OATP1B3. Ophiopogonin D' exhibits certain toxicity to tumor cells. Ophiopogonin D' can be used in tumor research[1][2][3].
In Vitro:Ophiopogonin D' (48 h) has IC50 values of 3.09 μM and 3.63 μM for MG-63 and SNU387 cells, respectively[1].
Ophiopogonin D' (0-64 μM; 5-10 min) promotes the uptake of Rosuvastatin (HY-17504A) and Atorvastatin (HY-B0589) in a concentration-dependent manner in OATP1B1-HEK293T cells, with EC50 values of 4.62 μM and 3.68 μM, respectively[3].
Ophiopogonin D' (0-64 μM; 5 min) increases the uptake of Rosuvastatin (HY-17504A) (EC50: 14.95 μM) and reduces the uptake of Telmisartan (HY-13955) in a concentration-dependent manner (IC50: 4.44 μM) in OATP1B3-HEK293T cells[3].
