Orotirelin (CG 3509) is a thyrotrophin-releasing hormone (TRH) analogue. Orotirelin can be used in the study of neurological diseases[1]. In Vivo:In the pentobarbitone anaesthetized rats, Bilateral injection of Orotirelin (0.1-1.0 μg) into the nucleus accumbens reduced the Pentobarbitone-induced sleeping time[1].
