4-Aminobenzyl alcohol is a self-eliminating linker. 4-Aminobenzyl alcohol can be used to synthesize the fluorescent probe MB-Van1 targeting Vanin-1[1]. In Vitro:4-Aminobenzyl alcohol can undergo efficient self-elimination reaction after the probe (MB-Van1) is activated by the Vanin-1 enzyme, thereby achieving significant amplification of the signal. MB-Van1 can rapidly and with high signal-to-noise ratio, perform real-time imaging of Vanin-1's activity in various inflammatory mouse models (rheumatoid arthritis, drug-induced liver injury, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug enteropathy)[1].
