cis-Resveratrol exhibits signifcant antiviral activity. cis-Resveratrol inhibits enteroviruses with IC50s of 12.2 µM and 37.6 µM for coxsackievirus B3 (CVB3) and enterovirus 71 (EV71), respectively. cis-Resveratrol is the inhibitor for NF-κB signaling pathway[1][2]. In Vitro:cis-Resveratrol (0-100 μM, 3-6 h) inhibits the expression of genes associated with the NF-κB signaling pathway, including NFnBL1, ICAM-1, Scya2 (MCP-1), RIP, and TLR7, inhibits the expression of pro-inflammatory cytokines (M-CSF, GM-CSF, G-CSF) and chemokines (RANTES), upregulates the expression of IL-6 and TNF-α in mouse peritoneal macrophages[2].
