Olsalazine Disodium (Standard) is an orally active prodrug of 5-ASA (HY-15027). Olsalazine Disodium (Standard) can inhibit cells proliferation and induce apoptosis. Olsalazine Disodium (Standard) can reduce DAI and MPO activity and inhibit inflammatory cytokines levels. Olsalazine Disodium (Standard) can be used for the researches of cancer, inflammation and metabolic disease, such as colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and hyperuricemic[1][2][3][4].
In Vivo:Olsalazine Disodium (Standard) (25 mg/kg, i.g., daily for 3 weeks) inhibits tumor growth in colorectal cancer rats models[1].
Olsalazine Disodium (Standard) (50 mg/kg, p.o., daily for 11 days) ameliorates colitis companied with Cannabidiol in dextran sulphate sodium (DSS)-induced acute and chronic colitis mice models[2].
Olsalazine Disodium (Standard) (5-20 mg/kg) decreases the levels of serum urate in hyperuricemic rats[3].
