6-Aminoquinoline is a biochemical reagent that can be used as a biological material or organic compound for life science related research. In Vitro: 6-Aminoquinoline was used as an internal standard in determining serum nicotine and cotinine simultaneously by using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)-fluorometric detection with a postcolumn ultraviolet-photo irradiation system. It was also used as a fluorescent derivatizing agent for the detection of biochemicals and in the synthesis of tertiary N-methylated enaminonesa.
