Acridone is an organic compound based on the acridine skeleton. Acridone has antibacterial, antimalarial, antiviral and anti neoplastic activities[1]. In Vitro:Acridone (0.1-1 µM, 48 h) inhibits the proliferation of cancer cell MDA-MB-231, blocks the mRNA and protein expression of ATP binding cassette subfamily G member 2 (ABCG2)[1].
