Epiallopregnanolone (5α,3β-THDOC), a 3β-hydroxy neurosteroid, an antagonist at GABAA receptors and a NMDA receptor enhancer[1]. In Vivo:Epiallopregnanolone (5α,3β-THDOC; 1-100 mg/kg; ip) inhibits seizures induced by Pilocarpine in mice (ED50 of 45.9 mg/kg)[2].
