Tirotundin (Tagitinin D) is a potent anti-inflammatory agent. Tirotundin inhibits the activation of NF-Kβ[1]. In Vitro:Tirotundin (compound 3) (5, 10, 20, 50 µM; 1 h; subsequently stimulated with TNF-a for one hour) completely inhibited activation of NF-Kβ at a concentration of 50 µM[1].
