Introduction of 555-55-5 :

Hispidin, a PKC inhibitor and a phenolic compound can be found in Phellinus linteus, has been shown to possess strong anti-oxidant, anti-cancer, anti-diabetic, and anti-dementia properties[1][2][3][4][5][6][7]. In Vitro:Hispidin (20 μM, 24 hours) alleviates ferroptosis and improves pancreatic β-cell function (as evidenced by the inhibition of ROS, Fe²⁺, and MDA accumulation, along with an increase in GSH levels), primarily exerting its protective effects through the regulation of the miR-15b-5p/GLS2 axis[2].
Hispidin (20 μg/ml, 24 hours) mitigates LPS (HY-D1056)-induced inflammatory responses in macrophages by inhibiting the phosphorylation of the MAPK and JAK1/STAT3 signaling pathways[3].
Hispidin (20 µM, 25 hours) protects dopaminergic neurons from JNK activation-regulated mitochondrial-dependent apoptosis[4].
Hispidin (3-30 μM, 7 hours) protects against hydrogen peroxide-induced apoptosis in H9c2 cardiomyocytes via the Akt/GSK-3β and ERK1/2 signaling pathways[5].
Hispidin (2.5-20 μM, 24 hours) exerts a protective effect against hydrogen peroxide-induced oxidative stress in ARPE-19 cells through the Nrf2 signaling pathway[6].
In Vivo:Hispidin (2.5%-5% Hispidin ointment, topical application, 0.2 g per day for 14 days) promotes wound healing in Wistar rats, acting via anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and tissue regeneration mechanisms[7].
