(E)-Ferulic acid, an orally active antioxidant, induces apoptosis. (E)-Ferulic acid has anti-proliferation and anti-migration effects. (E)-Ferulic acid can reduce the hepatorenal toxicity and oxidative stress induced by Tamoxifen (HY-13757A) in rats[1][2].
IC50 & Target:β-catenin, Bcl-2 Family[1]
In Vitro:(E)-Ferulic acid (0.03-0.6 mM, 24 h, 48 h) has anti-proliferation and anti-migration effects in human lung cancer cell line H1299 [1].
In Vivo:(E)-Ferulic acid (100 mg/kg, gavage, once a day for 21 days) can reduce the effect of liver and kidney toxicity and oxidative stress posed by tamoxifen in rats. [2].
