Introduction of 531-29-3 :

Coniferin (Laricin) is a glucoside of coniferyl alcohol. Coniferin inhibits fungal melanization. Coniferin inhibits the release of certain hormones from cells, including Prostaglandin E2 and Thromboxane B2[1][2][3]. IC50 & Target:Fungal[1] In Vitro:Coniferin (100 μM) inhibits melanization of Verticillium longisporum in vitro[1].
Coniferin (100 μM; 1 h) significantly reduces the release of Prostaglandin E2 (HY-101952) (IC50 value: 75.2 μM) from ionophore-stimulated mouse peritoneal macrophages[2].
Coniferin (100 μM) significantly reduces the release of Thromboxane B2 (HY-113331) (IC50 value: 619 μM) from ionophore-stimulated human platelets[2].
Coniferin (50 μM; 20 min) shows strong ATP-dependent transport activity in membrane vesicles prepared from differentiating xylem tissues of hybrid poplar, poplar, Japanese cypress and pine[3].
