RS-0406 is a beta-sheet breaker targeting Amyloid-β. RS-0406 can inhibits Aβ(1-42) fibrillogenesis and protect against Aβ(1-42)-induced cytotoxicity in primary hippocampal neurons. RS-0406 can be used for the research of neurological disease, such as Alzheimer's disease (AD)[1].
In Vitro:RS-0406 (10-100 μg/mL) inhibits 25 μM Aβ(1-42) fibrillogenesis and disassembles preformed Aβ(1-42) fibrils[1].
RS-0406 (10.3-3 μg/mL) ameliorates Aβ(1-42)-induced cytotoxicity in primary hippocampal neurons[1].
