Introduction of 50512-35-1 :

Isoprothiolane is a blast fungicide with antifungal, anti-inflammatory and insecticidal activities. Isoprothiolane primarily acts on fungi during the penetration and growth stages of infecting hyphae. Isoprothiolane can be used as an insecticide, pesticide, etc. In addition, Isoprothiolane can reduce serum phospholipid and total lipid concentrations, regulating lipid metabolism. Isoprothiolane is also used in the research of fatty liver[1][2][3][4]. In Vitro:Isoprothiolane (12% granules; 50 days) can suppress the population of Nilaparvata lugens and Sogatella furcifera in paddy fields[1].
Isoprothiolane (0.0005-5 µM; 24-48 h) promotes cell proliferation and inhibits the production of IL-1 and IL-6 in bovine mammary epithelial cells[2].
Isoprothiolane (50 μg/mL; 30-120 min) inhibits the incorporation of 14C-acetate into fatty acids and triglycerides, while promoting lanosterol accumulation in resting mycelia of Pyricularia oryzae[3].
Isoprothiolane (50 μg/mL; 30-120 min) inhibits the incorporation of 14C-methionine into phospholipids and causes the accumulation of S-adenosylmethionine in resting mycelia of Pyricularia oryzae[3]. In Vivo:Isoprothiolane has a 48-h LC50 of 5.9 mg/L for killifish, indicating moderate acute toxicity[4].
