Cephaloridine is a broad-spectrum antibacterial antibiotic. Cephaloridine has certain dose-related nephrotoxicity[1][2]. IC50 & Target:Bacteria[1] In Vitro:Cephaloridine can inhibit Staphylococcus aureus penicillin-sensitive strains, penicillin-resistant strains, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Clostridium septicum, and so on, with MICs of 0.05-1 μg/mL[1]. In Vivo:Cephaloridine (50-500 mg/kg; i.m.) exhibits dose-related nephrotoxicity in rabbits and monkeys[2].
