Digitolutein is a natural product that can be isolated from the stem bark and the roots of Morinda lucida Benth. Digitolutein effectively inhibits the growth of Plasmodium falciparum with an IC50 value of 12.92 μg/mL. Digitolutein can be used for the research of infection[1]. In Vitro:Digitolutein inhibits 18.5, 43.23, 53.18, 60.76, 75.98 and 82.51% the growth of P. falciparum at doses of 0, 5, 15, 20, 25 and 30 μg/mL, respectively[1].
