Neritaloside could be isolated from nerium oleander. Neritaloside has central nervous system (CNS) depressant effect[1][2. In Vitro: Neritaloside (human tumor cell lines) has antitumor activity with mean IC50 value and mean IC70 value of 0.120 μM and 0.252 μM, respectively[1]. In Vivo: Neritaloside (25 mg/kg; i.p.; for 6 hours; mice of NMRI strain) exhibits central nervous system depressant activity in mice at a dose of 25 mg/kg[2.
