Gentisin is a natural compound. Gentisin can be extracted from Gentianae radix (Gentianaceae). Gentisin has mutagenic activity. Gentisin can be used in vascular smooth muscle research[1][2]. In Vitro:Gentisin (1-30 µM; 48 h) inhibits PDGF-induced vascular smooth muscle cell proliferation in a concentration-dependent manner with an IC50 of 7.84 µM[2].
