Dabigatran ethyl ester is an inhibitor of ribosyldihydronicotinamide dehydrogenase (NQO2) and thrombin. Dabigatran ethyl ester inhibits NADH-dependent metabolism of mitomycin C mediated by purified recombinant human NQO2[1].
In Vitro: Dabigatran ethyl ester (Compound 2) binds to purified recombinant human NQO2, with a half-maximal inhibitory concentration of 1.5 μM[1].
Dabigatran ethyl potently inhibits NADH-dependent mitomycin C metabolism mediated by purified recombinant human NQO2, with an IC50 of 0.8 μM and a Ki of 0.9 μM[1].
Dabigatran ethyl ester inhibits the proteolytic activity of human α-thrombin with an IC50 of 1.2 nM[1].
