Introduction of 38048-32-7 :

Nitrobenzylthioinosine is an ENT1 transporter inhibitor that binds to ENT1 transporter with high affinity. Nitrobenzylthioinosine is a photoaffinity probe for adenosine uptake sites in brain. Nitrobenzylthioinosine can cross the blood-brain barrier[1][2][3]. IC50 & Target:ENT1 transporter[1] In Vitro:Nitrobenzylthioinosine (0-25 μM) can inhibit uridine uptake by HeLa cells[4].
Nitrobenzylthioinosine (10 μM, 72 h) combines with N-Phosphonacetyl-L-aspartic acid (PALA) can inhibit the viability of B16 melanoma cells[5].
In Vivo:Nitrobenzylthioinosine (50, 100 mg/kg, intraperitoneally injected, 4 times a day) combines with N-Phosphonacetyl-L-aspartic acid (PALA) can inhibit the growth of B16 melanoma[5].
Nitrobenzylthioinosine (50 nM, intraventricular injection) can protect rat CA1 pyramidal neurons from ischemic death[6].
