Introduction of 3679-64-9 :

Multifungin (Bromochlorosalicylanilide) is an antifungal that treats oral candidiasis[1]. Multifungin prevents the formation and accumulation of Zearalenone and reduces the fungal population in stored-crushed corn[2]. IC50 & Target:candidiasis[1] In Vitro:Multifungin interacts with bacterial cell membranes, changes the intracellular H+ and K+ ion levels, destroys the bacterial proton motive force (PMF), including the transmembrane potential and the transmembrane proton gradient, thereby affecting the respiratory chain function and ATP synthesis, inhibiting phosphatidic acid biosynthesis, and thus exerting antibacterial effect[3].
Multifungin exhibits board-spectrum antibacterial activity, inhibits S. aureus, L. monocytogenes, S. suis, S. epidermidis, S. agalactiae, B. subtilis with MICs of 0.25-1 μg/mL[3].
In Vivo:Multifungin (1.6 mg/kg, ip, single dose) exhibits anti-infectious activity in G. mellonella-infected mouse models[3].
Multifungin (10 mg/kg, ip, single dose) exhibits anti-inflammatory activity in mouse peritonitis models[3].
