Anticonvulsant agent 1 is an anticonvulsant agent extracted from patent WO2001062726A2, Compound 156. In Vitro: The inhibition constant (Ki) of Anticonvulsant agent 1 (Compound 156) is determined in competitive binding experiments by measuring the binding of a single concentration of a radioactive ligand at equilibrium with various concentrations of the unlabeled test substance. The concentration of the test substance inhibiting 50 % of the specific binding of the radioligand is called the IC50. The equilibrium dissociation constant Ki is proportional to the IC50 and is calculated. Anticonvulsant agent 1 shows pKi values of 6.0 and greater[1]
