H-Val-Tyr-OH (Val-Tyr) is a dipeptide formed by the connection of valine and tyrosine via a peptide bond. H-Val-Tyr-OH is a potential IKKα inhibitor and can be used in the research of cancer and inflammatory diseases[1]. In Vitro:H-Val-Tyr-OH (100 μM; 5 h) can reduce the phosphorylation level of IκBα in RAW 264.7 cells stimulated with LPS (HY-D1056), thereby inhibiting the activation of the NF-κB signaling pathway, but its inhibitory effect is weaker than that of the known IKKα inhibitor BMS-345541 (HY-10519)[1].
